For more than twenty-five years, my work with shrunken heads has become far more than study or collecting. It has become a responsibility — a commitment to protect, preserve, and honor the remaining ceremonial tsantsas in the world.
Many of these sacred pieces have been mishandled, misunderstood, or passed through private hands without any awareness of their cultural or spiritual importance. Some have spent decades stored improperly, forgotten, or treated as novelties.
They deserve dignity.
I am seeking to acquire authentic ceremonial tsantsas solely for proper care and respectful preservation. These were warriors — real human beings — and they should never again be exploited, displayed casually, or treated as curiosities.
My purpose is simple:
• to ensure ceremonial tsantsas are never misused
• to preserve them with respect and cultural understanding
• to safeguard them for the rest of their existence
